Sage Built, LLC is a construction company specializing in new home construction and renovations. It's led by Jon and Nicole Sage — Jon as owner and operator, bringing an engineer's discipline to how each home is built, and Nicole bringing the creative eye that shapes how it looks and feels to live in. Together they carry a home from structure to style.
Jon has worked in construction since 2002, starting his trade experience on a custom-home framing crew before earning a Civil Engineering degree from Iowa State University and his Professional Engineering license. That mix of field experience and engineering discipline is what he brings to Sage Built today — dedicating the company to a select number of custom homes and renovations each year, with a proactive, meticulous approach to preconstruction, design, budgeting, and trade craft.
Nicole Sage works alongside Jon as the creative force behind every Sage Built home. She leads design and selections — guiding finishes, materials, fixtures, and the details that give a home its character — partnering closely with clients to turn how they want to live into choices that feel cohesive and personal. She and Jon shape each home together from first concept to final walkthrough.
